UK/Costa Azahar, Costa Blanca, Costa de Valencia 1, Levant/e refers to names given to the Levant (the Middle East) and the Levante (Comunidad de Valencia). Both refer to imagined constructs, never real in any geopolitical sense, and this idea of fictional place appeals very strongly to Bloom’s creative vision. Valencia and Lebanon exist on the fringes of a region, connected yet divided, and in the space between similarities and differences, art can flourish.
