Osvaldo Puente (Espana)
Argentinian born Osvaldo is the owner of the exquisite La Minima gallery in Valencia, an art space that proves the adage that small is indeed beautiful. His work is an exercise in subversion that seeks to modify or invert customary ways of seeing and interpreting. He begins from a rethinking of his own mestizo identity, a dialogue of memory- his own and that of others.
His 'daily mediations' are drawings which evoke what is behind words. Using a philosophy of an economy of language, they are achingly subtle and intimate, inspiring quiet and contemplation.
