Songs of Valencia, Mark Lamprell 1/12 - 29/12

Mark Lamprell exhibits for the first time in his adopted home, Valencia, with an exhibition of works reflecting facets of the city.
Australian born Lamprell is an acclaimed screenwriter, film director, novelist, children’s book writer and painter. His novels and children’s books are published in sixteen countries and twelve languages. His works include the novels The Full Ridiculous, The Lovers’ Guide to Rome, and The Secret Wife. Mark also works internationally in film both as a writer and director, with movie credits including Babe Pig in The City, My Mother Frank, After the Rain, Goddess, A Few Less Men and Never Too Late. Mark’s most recent work as a painter is inspired by the tiled houses of El Cabañal in Valencia, Spain, where he currently lives with his wife, academic and journalist Dr Klay Lamprell.
