There are places where the elements merge, merge in a way that seems to cancel out all else. Places where we see and feel the awe of nature, the ultimate in site-specific art. In this volume of Acanthus, we explore the interrelationships between earth, air and water, and their role as psychological and philosophical concepts. The spaces where these elemental forces converge have inspired poets, artists, and thinkers since time immemorial.
